Spohn + Burkhardt wire wound resistors are suitable for low and medium power ratings. Resistor posts can be replaced individually. A robust mechanical construction protects the resistor from shocks. The housing is made of high-quality stainless steel, or alternatively painted sheet steel, and depending on the application additional vent slots can be integrated. The removable cover ensures easy access and cable infeed, and a simple electrical connection. Depending on the requirement the wire wound resistor can be delivered with floor mounting or wall mounting. The taps are installed as requested by the customer, re-tapping is possible. The enclosed version of the resistor allows outdoor use.
